Tewkesbury Park has appointed Roberto Sanzo as its new restaurant and bars manager.

Hailing from the city of Rome, it said Sanzo brings with him a “wealth of culinary expertise”, having honed his skills at “renowned” establishments such as the Sofitel and the globally acclaimed De Russie in Rome.

The McIntosh family acquired Tewkesbury Park in 2014 and undertook a complete renovation and restoration project – transforming the site into a new hotel, golf and leisure resort.

The hotel features an 18-hole golf course, meetings and events space, suites and the Berkeley Bar and Terrace.

Samantha Birch, hotel manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome Roberto to the team. His expertise and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our mission to provide an exceptional dining experience to our valued guests. We are confident that he will have a transformative effect on our customer service and team dynamic.

“What truly distinguishes Sanzo is his unwavering dedication to his craft and his commitment to the growth and development of his team. His passion lies in nurturing the talents within our restaurant family, ensuring that each member reaches their fullest potential.”
