The Hari hotel in Belgravia,London has unveiled new room renovations from designer Tara Bernerd.
The wide-planked wood floors in the rooms have been lightened, with new bespoke designed rugs set beneath the beds in tones of cream and navy, or rich chocolate brown.
Bed frames are now finished in a dark ivory leather, complementing the newly upholstered headboards finished in either a dark racing green, or rich caramel corduroy.
Bespoke side tables, cantilevered from the headboard are finished in a mid-toned wood, with a pale, lightly-veined marble top and the mirrors above the bed have been retained.
The renovations also include new sheer curtains in a light neutral to complete the transformation and refresh of the rooms.
The hotel is now planning an updated bar design and with further renovations due to take place in Q1 next year.
Andrew Coney, general manager of The Hari, said: “Our aim for the renovation was to enhance our guest rooms in the hotel to offer new touchpoints for our guests. We have a long-standing partnership with Tara Bernerd who works with us to support our sustainability efforts by creating a chic, considered design that stands the test of time.”
Bernerd added: “Having long had a fruitful partnership with Dr Aron Harilela and his team, we have revisited our designs for the guest rooms at The Hari, to refresh and reinvigorate, whilst staying true to the original design ethos and DNA.”
