Global hotel management company, Valor Hospitality, is overseeing the execution of a £16.4m investment in a property improvement programme, renovating 1,331 rooms across six Hilton properties.
Valor Hospitality is overseeing all aspects of the transformation as part of its ongoing commitment to providing the best experience for guests across its portfolio of 34 hotels in the UK.
The six hotels involved in the renovation programme are: DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly, DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds, DoubleTree by Hilton Chester, Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham, Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow, and Hilton Garden Inn Bristol.
All room renovations are anticipated to be completed by September 2024, with work already underway in Manchester and Leeds. Work on the other four hotels in the programme will commence in January.
Brian McCarthy, President of Valor Hospitality UK & Europe said: “Our unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional experience for guests when staying with us, comes with ensuring our rooms are up to the highest standard. We’ve overseen significant investment in refurbishments and upgrades to make our hotels feel like home-away-from-home, so they’ll want to visit time and time again.
“We’ve worked closely with the team at Hilton and ABDA Design to modernise the rooms; a homely feel was created by using soft colours and warm lighting. There was a change from tradition by removing more formal desk spaces and replacing them with comfortable chairs and a table that can easily be adapted for dining, working or relaxing. For the Hilton Garden Inns, we focused on each venue having its own bedroom design that brought in elements from the local areas to create rooms with real character.”
