The White Lion Weston, a revered 17th-century establishment in Cheshire, has announced the appointment of Sharon Davies as its new director. 

Davies, a seasoned hospitality professional, steps into the role with a clear mission to drive the hotel, restaurant, and bar to unprecedented success in 2024.

She brings a strategic vision aimed at enhancing guest experiences while staying in one of the well-appointed 17 ensuite bedrooms, refining the restaurant and 1652 Bar’s offerings, and nurturing stronger community connections. 

Her immediate goal is to elevate the venue’s reputation, increasing footfall, while preserving its heritage.

In addition to enhancing The White Lion, she is actively seeking opportunities to expand the establishment’s presence and is on the lookout to acquire another venue, adding to The White Lion Weston’s stunning portfolio. 

Her ambition aligns with a commitment to creating standout locales that attract customers and keep them returning.

Regarding the appointment, Davies said: “I’m excited to lead The White Lion Weston into a new phase of growth. My focus is to protect its much-loved history while introducing fresh, modern experiences that resonate with our guests and keep them coming back.

“One of our main goals for Q1 is focussing on rewarding customer loyalty, with some exciting additions, development of an app and exclusive offers and rewards for our customers.”
