Five-star hotel on Loch Lomond, Cameron House Resort, has announced the appointment of Will Oakley to the role of managing director.
With a career spanning three decades within the luxury hospitality industry, Oakley has previously overseen the management of numerous five-star properties in the UK and overseas.
He joins Cameron House from the 300-acre private resort, Jumby Bay Island by the Oetker Collection in Antigua, where he was also managing director. Under his leadership, the hotel’s turnover and profit grew, which led to it being awarded with a five-star Forbes rating.
Prior to this, Oakley held general manager roles with luxury properties including The Cadogan in London; Glenapp Castle in Scotland; and Cobblers Cove in Barbados.
In his new role, he will oversee and lead all aspects of the resort’s management and operations, ensuring seamless coordination and the highest standards across every department – including hotel accommodation, F&B, self-catered lodges and signature experiences.
Oakley said: “Cameron House is renowned as one of Scotland’s leading resorts and I am deeply committed to contributing to its continued success. My focus is on leading and supporting the talented team to deliver excellence at every turn, ensuring that every guest experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
“As we step into the new year, I am excited to collaborate, drive innovation, foster a culture of excellence and build on the resort’s reputation as a destination of choice for unforgettable experiences worldwide.”
Located on the banks of Loch Lomond in Trossachs National Park, Cameron House consists of 208 bedrooms including 28 suites, multiple restaurants and bars, an award-winning spa, marina and two golf courses, including the 18-hole Championship course, The Carrick.
Cameron Lodges, also located within the wider resort, include 115 self-catered lodges, cottages and apartments.
