Valerio Duchini has been appointed chief executive officer for Western Europe at B&B Hotels.
Since joining the group in 2009, Duchini has played a key role in its international expansion, first in B&B Hotels Italia, where he helped establish B&B Hotels Group as a “market leader”.
More recently, he also led the opening of the company’s first three hotels in the United States.
According to the hotel group, Duchini’s 16 years of experience within B&B Hotels will further strengthen its market position in Western Europe. The company also stated that his leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in “accelerating its growth and ensuring its continued success”.
Duchini said: “I am deeply honored to take on this new challenge within the B&B Hotels Group, a distinguished company that I know well. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of witnessing significant milestones, as the company has continuously overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and evolve all while maintaining the same strong collective energy and teamwork that defines its success.
“As CEO of the Western Europe region, I am committed to driving the continued success of nearly 450 hotels across France, Belgium, and Switzerland, and to supporting the ambitious development of this historic region. Each meeting, every interaction, and all the projects I have been part of have shaped my vision and strengthened my connection to this remarkable journey. I am excited to embark on this new chapter and look forward to collaborating with the teams both in the hotels and at our HQ services.”
B&B Hotels added: “This appointment marks a new milestone for B&B Hotels as we remain committed to delivering high-quality, affordable, and responsible hospitality experiences worldwide. We look forward to this exciting new phase of development and wish Valerio great success in his new role.”
