RBH Hospitality Management has been appointed to operate Station Suites, a new development of serviced apartments in central Middlesbrough, which is due to open this June.

The 42-unit scheme is backed by Mark Ashall, Nicholas Merriman and the investment group behind the nearby Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough, which is also managed by RBH.

Located in the Boho 6 building next to Middlesbrough railway station, the apartments are aimed at longer-stay visitors and guests seeking more space and in-room facilities.

The development marks RBH’s third serviced apartment signing in six months, as the group expands its portfolio in the sector.

David Hart, chief executive of RBH, said: “Station Suites will provide a high-quality accommodation option for leisure guests, and corporate travellers involved in regional projects as part of Middlesbrough’s ongoing regeneration.

“This addition to our portfolio reflects our commitment to growing RBH’s presence in the serviced apartment space, building our expertise and expanding the diversity of our portfolio.”

Ashall added: “We’re thrilled to once again partner with RBH in Middlesbrough. Station Suites will offer something distinct from our existing Holiday Inn Express property and addresses the need for high quality serviced apartment accommodation for both short and long stays in light of the new developments occurring at Teesside Freeport.”
