Boutique hotel brand Staypineapple has announced the appointment of Aldina Rexha as the new general manager of its 89-room Midtown Manhattan property.

Rexha, who has previously held leadership roles at NU Hotel and Hampton Inn in New York, will oversee daily operations at the hotel. She has experience in rooms division management, operations and team development.

According to the company, this appointment reflects its focus on leadership development as it shifts from an owner-operator model to a brand and management-driven structure.

Rexha said: “I’m thrilled to join Staypineapple and lead the amazing team at our New York hotel. I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundation the brand has established and ensuring we continue to deliver a memorable, high-quality experience for every guest.”

Bob Spear, chief operating officer at Staypineapple, added: “She brings the right combination of operational know-how and leadership vision to create exceptional guest experiences and cultivate a strong, empowered team culture.”
