The BLOC Hotel in Birmingham has been sold to New World Hospitality led by principal Vijay Sharmain in an off-market transaction, for an undisclosed sum.
The sale was completed on behalf of the Arora Group by Enterprise Hotels and Hospitality.
The purpose-built, freehold hotel, which opened in 2011, comprises 105 bedrooms and offers a range of room types, from compact windowless bedrooms to larger apartment-style units.
It is located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, within walking distance of the city centre and its main business and leisure districts.
According to Enterprise Hotels and Hospitality, the transaction reflected continued investor interest in well-located UK hotel assets.
The sale coincides with the firm marking its second anniversary since launch.
