Samko Holdings, the parent company of Samko Hospitality, has officially acquired Stanhill Court Hotel, a Radisson Individuals-branded property, for an undisclosed sum.

Located in Surrey four miles from Gatwick Airport, the hotel offers 59 bedrooms in a country house set within 35 acres of grounds.

News of the acquisition comes as Samko aims to strengthen its focus on destination-led assets and premium hotels in the UK.

The hotel recently underwent refurbishment and continues to operate under the Radisson Individuals brand. The site includes a one-acre amphitheatre.

Originally built in 1881 as a private residence for William Young, the Scottish baronial style country house is situated on the south-eastern edge of Surrey.

The hotel joins other assets in the group’s portfolio, including Crowne Plaza London Kingston, Warren House Hotel, The River Club, and The Ravens Ait Island.

Sampathkumar Mallaya, group chairman and managing director of Samko Holdings, said: “We are continuing to build on our strengths to solidify our footprint in the hospitality sector. This acquisition aligns strategically with our business goals and reinforces our commitment to building long-term, sustainable success.”
