The Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham has been sold to a private investor in a deal for an undisclosed sum.

The landmark 106-bedroom hotel is located in Birmingham city centre and serves as a primary hub for both corporate and leisure travellers due to its proximity to Broad Street, the ICC, and Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

The property features a lounge bar, a fully equipped gym, and a private car park, having undergone a full renovation of its accommodation.

The sale was facilitated by specialist business property adviser Christie and Co, which noted that the transaction underscores the ongoing resilience of the West Midlands hospitality market.

The firm has reported sustained demand for high-quality, branded assets in regional city centres throughout the first quarter of 2026.

Matt Hill, senior business agent for Christie and Co’s Midlands hotel team, said: “The completion of this landmark hotel in the heart of Birmingham city centre shows the strength of buyer demand in today’s market.

“Due to the sustained demand for quality, well-positioned hotels, we are keen to engage with operators within the central Birmingham and West Midlands region.”
