Castlebridge Hospitality has expanded its leadership team with two senior appointments, with Joe Davidovitz promoted to general manager at voco Winchester Hotel and Spa and James Watson joining the group as hotel operations manager.

Davidovitz, who has been with the hotel since October 2023, has since progressed through a series of leadership roles, being recognised for his capabilities in management and operational support.

Prior to his role with the hospitality group, Davidovitz had 15 years of experience with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). The appointment comes a year and a half after his promotion to hotel manager in January 2025.

Watson brings 12 years of hospitality experience, having developed a strong operational background through a range of roles within Marriott Hotels, spanning from conference and banqueting to food and beverage management. He joined Castlebridge Hospitality at voco Winchester Hotel and Spa in February 2026.

Davidovitz said: “It is a privilege to step into this role and lead such a dedicated and talented team. I have developed a strong connection to the hotel, our guests, and the local community, and am passionate about building on the solid foundations already in place. My focus with James will be on driving the hotel forward commercially while continuing to elevate the guest experience.”

He added: “We will be looking closely at opportunities to strengthen our market positioning, enhance service standards, and ensure that every guest interaction reflects the quality and warmth our brand is known for”.

Craig Patterson, managing director of Castlebridge Hospitality, added: “We’re delighted to appoint both Joe and James as leaders within our organisation. Both bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise in the hospitality industry

“I am confident they will be a fantastic asset to our expanding team as well as maximising the hotel’s potential, adding great value to our business, delivering exceptional hospitality and positioning the company strongly for its next phase of growth“.
