Mannings Hotel and Apartments in Truro, Cornwall, has been brought to market with an asking price of £3m.
Set within a restored, Grade II listed Georgian townhouse on Lemon Street in the centre of Truro, Mannings Hotel combines historic elegance with contemporary style.
Under the same ownership since 1993, the property has been transformed from an old coaching inn into a 34-room hotel.
In 2003, the owner expanded the business further by converting a former stable block into nine self-catering apartments.
Mannings also features a 70-cover restaurant which holds an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence.
The current owner is now looking to retire, offering the opportunity to acquire the business. The property offers the opportunity for further growth, and includes several buildings within the private gated car park with the potential for redevelopment to create extra accommodation or for alternative uses, subject to planning consent.
Stephen Champion, director in the South West Hotels team at Christie and Co, who is managing the sale process, said: “Mannings is likely to appeal to a wide range of buyers thanks to its superb location, excellent reputation and charming character property.
“Given the buoyancy of the hotel transactional market, which saw Christie and Co complete on just under 100 hotel transactions in 2025, we expect strong interest in this outstanding business.”
