The Sleeping Bear Hotel in Dorchester has been brought to market with a guide price of £2.2m.
The property, located on High West Street, features 29 bedrooms and occupies a central position in the Dorset county town.
The hotel contains a range of 19th Century period features including a feature staircase, fireplaces and decorative cornicing. Each guest room varies in layout and size, reflecting the character of the historic building.
The site provides access to the Jurassic Coast, which remains the only natural World Heritage Site in England.
Potential buyers have the option to continue operating under the Sleeping Bear Hotels brand through a franchise agreement or management contract.
James Williamson, a hotel and leisure team member at Graham and Sibbald, who is handling the sale, said: “This offering provides established hospitality owners with the opportunity to acquire a highly profitable hotel, while also offering property investors new to the sector a structured and supported pathway into hotel ownership.
“The availability of ongoing operational support from the Sleeping Bear Hotels brand is aimed to ensure stability, experienced oversight and a smooth ownership transition.”
