Pulse Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Naufal Naeem Mohamed as its new cluster director of sales for Nova Maldives and Eri Maldives.

Mohamed will lead the commercial strategy for both properties following the recent launch of Eri Maldives.

He joins with more than 10 years of experience in the Maldivian luxury hospitality sector and will be responsible for sales direction and market strategy with a focus on revenue growth and partner engagement.

Mohamed previously served as director of sales and marketing at Noku Maldives, a Vignette Collection hotel. He also held the role of director of sales at Nova Maldives and worked in senior commercial positions at Kandima Maldives.

The appointment comes as Pulse Hotels and Resorts expands its portfolio. Nova Maldives continues its growth as a community-focused resort, while Eri Maldives enters its first phase of operations as the group’s latest opening.

The cluster director of sales will spearhead growth across international markets including Europe, the GCC, and India. He will work alongside the management teams at both resorts to strengthen trade partnerships and market positioning.

Abdulla Aboobakuru, general manager of Nova Maldives, said: “Naufal brings an excellent balance of market knowledge and commercial leadership. As we continue building momentum for Nova, his experience will be a key asset in deepening our partnerships and driving performance.”

Haroon Mohamed, general manager of Eri Maldives, said: “As we introduce Eri to the market, we are counting on Naufal’s deep industry relationships to help place Eri firmly on the map.”

Mohamed added: “I’m excited to step into this role at such an important time for both island resorts. Nova has a strong identity and loyal following, and Eri represents a fresh new opportunity. I look forward to working closely with both teams and our partners to build long-term growth across our key markets.”
