Una Hotels One Catania has announced the opening of a 1,700sqm urban spa in central Catania, establishing one of the largest indoor and outdoor wellness facilities in the city.

The development follows a thalasso-inspired concept and includes an indoor pool with lumbar massage jets, an outdoor pool, a Turkish bath, and a Finnish sauna. Other facilities at the site include multisensory showers, a hay bio-sauna, salt rooms, and a Kneipp walking path.

A relaxation area with daybeds and seven outdoor wellness suites is located on the panoramic terrace. The facility also includes a beauty hub created in partnership with Comfort Zone.

The project marks the final phase of a repositioning for Una Hotels One Catania. The hotel is part of the Gruppo Una portfolio, the largest Italian hotel chain.

Giorgio Marchegiani, chief executive of Gruppo Una, said: “The launch of this urban spa reinforces our focus on high-quality experiential elements for leisure and short-break travellers.”
