Minor Hotels has announced the upcoming opening of Avani Lanexang Vientiane, a premium lifestyle hotel scheduled to begin operations in the second quarter of 2026.
The property will be the second Laos hotel for the group, and follows the opening of Avani Luang Prabang in the north of the country.
Located on Fa Ngum Road, the hotel is 15 minutes from Wattay International Airport. It is positioned to serve international business and leisure travellers.
The hotel will feature 197 rooms, including suites and a presidential suite. Facilities include a gym, a spa with five treatment rooms, and an outdoor pool.
Four dining venues are also planned for the site. These include the Mekong Mosaic all-day restaurant, Sabaidee Social bar, The Pantry cafe, and Salongxay for fine dining.
Corporate facilities will include the Lanexang Hall ballroom, which holds 320 guests. The space can be divided into two rooms and includes a dedicated VIP area.
Dillip Rajakarier, chief executive of Minor Hotels, said: “The expansion into Vientiane reflects our commitment to growth in Southeast Asian markets where heritage and modern hospitality meet.”
