The McKeever Hotel Group has created two new senior leadership roles to manage brand performance and commercial strategy across its portfolio of seven hotel properties.
Catherine Ashman joins the group as head of marketing and sales, a role designed to align marketing investment with sales performance and revenue growth.
Ashman previously worked with international brands in the luxury and consumer goods sectors and has experience with several marketing agencies across Ireland, the UK, and Australia.
In her new capacity, she will oversee the strategic and operational direction of the group’s sales functions.
She is also involved in the group’s internal junior management training programme, where she provides coaching and mentorship to staff.
Meanwhile, Elaine Harkin has been promoted to the newly created position of strategic revenue manager, having joined the group in 2024 as group revenue manager.
Her remit includes group-wide leadership for revenue performance, focusing on commercial forecasting, budget influence, and profitability targets.
Harkin’s professional background includes general management and senior operational roles at several properties in Belfast, Derry, and Troon.
Her focus in this new role is to ensure that revenue-based decision-making remains aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives and governance standards.
Both appointees will work closely with the executive team to drive brand performance across the diverse portfolio, which includes both city-center and regional hotel assets.
