Cromlix House hotel, owned by tennis star Andy Murray, has failed a food hygiene inspection.
The 15-bedroom hotel in Perthshire has been told that its restaurant, Chez Roux, must improve before it can be approved by the Food Standards Agency.
The hotel has insisted that the problems, which stemmed from an isolated issue with a handwash sink, have been fixed.
General manager Graeme Green said: “The first inspection identified a minor fault with the connection of the handwash sink. We repaired this immediately and have requested a further inspection.”
The hotel opened in April this year and was named Scotland’s hotel of the year just 27 days after it was opened.
