Lifestyle brand The Nici has appointed Charmaine Harbour as head of spa ahead of two hotel openings in Cornwall and the New Forest.
Harbour previously served as spa director at Beaverbrook and has held management roles at Champneys, Harbour Hotels, and Macdonald Hotels and Resorts.
Announcing the appointment on Linkedin, Harbour said: “‘I’m delighted to announce I have been busy settling in at The NICI as Head Of Spa ahead of the very exciting launch of our 2 new properties. The NICI Newquay and The NICI New Forest.”
She added: “Celebrating new beginnings, old faces, continued growth and creating memorable wellness experiences.”
Following the success of the flagship in Bournemouth, The Nici will launch in Newquay this summer, taking over the former Victoria Hotel, alongside a New Forest site at the former Elmers Court Hotel.
Nici Newquay, overlooking Great Western beach, will offer 82 guest rooms, spa and gym facilities as well as a private cinema. Its site in New Forest will offer 118 guest rooms, spa facilities, tennis courts and restaurants, located on the banks of the Lymington River.
The group describes itself as a wellness destination for the region, with facilities ranging from spa pools and fitness spaces to sunlit gardens.
