The Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport has officially opened its doors today (May 8), after being signed by Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) earlier this year.
The 193-bedroom new build, which is expected to create 50 new jobs, will be owned and operated by Dominvs Hospitality and will feature one meeting room, a restaurant, a bar and 251 car parking spaces.
Sean Brookes, chief operating officer at Dominvs Hospitality, said: “This is a proud day for both the team and I at Dominvs Hospitality. Aberdeen is an ever-expanding force in the business tourism sector and this new quality Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport hotel will be a great boost to the city.
“We are the perfect choice for people on the move and we welcome guests into our relaxed environment with superior service from the best staff in the area.”
Dominvs will also open the 165-bedroom Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport hotel in August, later this year, which will feature 10 meeting rooms catering for up to 250 people.
