The Malmaison Hotel du Vin group has been granted planning permission to build a new 48-bedroom Hotel du Vin in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The plans, which were announced in May last year, will see the transformation of two Georgian-listed buildings on Rother Street into a Hotel du Vin and were approved by Stratford District Council on 24 February 2016.
Due to open in summer 2017, the property will feature the group’s french-inspired restaurant bistro du vin, meeting rooms, private dining rooms and a banqueting room catering for up to 80 guests and.

The hotel is expected to create 45 new full-time jobs and 20 part-time jobs.
