Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event, The Devonshire Food Festival in Yorkshire is attracting even more Michelin star chefs for this year’s installment.
The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel-hosted festival will run from 19 November – 25 November 2012 and see top chefs from across the UK participating in a series of lunchtime competitions and Michelin star dinners.
Names already booked for the festival include Adam Simmonds, Kenny Atkinson, James Mackenzie, Mark Birchall, Simon Crannage, Steve Smith and Matthew Tomkinson. Thierry Dumouchel will also run a special chocolate cookery demonstration.
Around 50 diners will judge the lunchtime head-to-head competitions, in which two competing chefs will each prepare a menu with a starter, main and dessert. Guests must then select their favourite dishes and the chef with the most orders will win.
