This Chocolate Week (8 to 14 October), Lancaster London and Fairtrade chocolatier Divine are offering three specially made desserts.
To be served at Lancaster London’s environmentally-friendly Island Grill restaurant, which recently received a three star rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, the desserts are titled as follows: Chocolate, Chocolate & More Chocolate; Cocoa Olives and Choc Ice.
Divine is unique, in that 45 per cent of the company is owned by cocoa farmers and only uses Fairtrade cocoa in its products. The cocoa beans are handpicked by Ghanaian farmers and the chocolate produced contains no artificial flavours or preservatives.
