Doubletree by Hilton has opened its 43rd UK hotel in The Cotswolds.

Situated three miles from the Cheltenham racecourse, Hilton said the new hotel is surrounded by popular tourist sites and serves as an “ideal” location for the area’s year-round festivals.

Dianna Vaughan, senior vice-president at Doubletree by Hilton, said: “DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham is conveniently located near many notable attractions, providing the perfect base for guests to explore the country’s best nature spots or to head into the bustling city centre of Cheltenham.

“We are proud to open the latest addition to our ever-expanding DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio and to welcome each guest with our signature, warm DoubleTree Cookie upon arrival.”

Facilities at the hotel include a gym and swimming pool, as well as available spa treatments. The property also features 10 meeting rooms, with the largest one having the capacity to hold up 320 people.
