Longrose Buccleuch Hotels (LBML) has taken over the management of the Best Western Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham after finalising a multi-million pound deal to acquire the hotel’s freehold and operating company.
LBML has revealed plans for its latest acquisition, announcing it will remain a Best Western hotel and undergo an immediate refurbishment of its bedrooms and public areas.
Operations director of LBML Garin Davies said: “The hotel has a long history within the south Manchester area and will be a great asset to our company. With the upgrades that we have planned, the hotel’s appeal to both local corporate users and local people looking to celebrate weddings and other special events will improve.”
In December, the hotel announced it was aiming to become the first Best Western hotel to receive Vegetarian Society accreditation.
“The Hotel has exceptional business potential, with its easy access to Manchester city centre and Manchester Airport making it a great choice for commercial travellers, conference buyers and leisure visitors to both Manchester and Cheshire,” Davies added.
“Our plans are very much to work with the hotel team and return the Cresta Court to its status as a premier hotel in the region.”
