Watergate Bay Hotel team launch Another Place hotel collection
The team behind Cornwall’s Watergate Bay Hotel has announced the launch of a new collection of hotels – Another Place.
The first acquisition under the Another Place umbrella is the 19-bedroom, four red-star, Rampsbeck Hotel in Ullswater, located within 18-acres of the Lake District National Park.
Will Ashworth, founder of Another Place and managing director of Watergate Bay Hotel, said: “Every property in the Another Place collection will be characterised by a fantastic location and our own unique mix of active, social and relaxing hospitality.
“Rampsbeck is the perfect hotel to kick off our new collection. There is a strong team and excellent reputation already in place and, ahead of developing plans for additional bedrooms and social spaces, we are looking forward to introducing a few of our own ideas. We intend to appeal to both current and new visitors, always staying true to the spirit of Ullswater.”
Joining Rampsbeck will be the Royal William Yard, a 60-bedroom boutique hotel currently in the development stage. Occupying a Grade I listed former naval victualing building, the hotel is being developed in conjunction with Urban Splash and Plymouth City Council.
