Nobu Hotel opened in London’s Shoreditch this weekend (1 July) – the company’s first property in the UK.
The hotel has 143 guest rooms and seven suites, a meeting space, lobby bar and a 240-cover restaurant.
The new hotel was designed by Ron Arad Architects and Ben Adams Architects. The interior was designed by local designers, Studio Mica.
Guests to the hotel and restaurant will be able to enjoy Nobu’s signature dishes and Shoreditch-inspired menus and cocktails.
To give back to the local area, the hotel features a ‘pocket’ garden, offering an “oasis in the heart of East London”.
Gigi Vega, general manager at Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, said: “I am delighted to announce that Europe’s first Nobu Hotel, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch is now open.
“Just like the Nobu brand, Shoreditch is an area of east meeting west, with a rich history and a bright future.”
She added: “There is a spirit and energy in Shoreditch that can’t be experienced anywhere else in London and Nobu Hotel Shoreditch encapsulates this vibrant atmosphere, whilst staying true to our Nobu values.”
