Worsley Park, a Marriott Hotel and Country Club, has announced that it has been ranked among  the top 10 per cent of hotels in the world having received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence that honours hospitality excellence.

The accolade is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, which placed Worsley Park within the top 10 per cent of businesses listed on the site worldwide.

To qualify for consideration for the award Worsley Park maintained an overall rating of four stars or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by visitors and guests of the hotel on TripAdvisor over the least 12 months while maintaining a high volume of reviews across the year.

“This Certificate of Excellence is a direct result of our passion for delivering the best possible experience for our guests, whether that be for business or leisure. This has not only resulted in positive reviews on TripAdvisor but has also seen guests come back to us time and again,” said Derek Harvey, general manager at Worsley Park. “Our best judges really are our customers and to know that they have ranked amongst the best in the world – is great.”

Alison Copus, vice president of marketing for TripAdvisor for business added: “TripAdvisor is delighted to celebrate the success of businesses around the globe, from Sydney to Chicago, Sao Paulo to Rome, which are consistently offering TripAdvisor travellers a great customer experience. The Certificate of Excellence award provides top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers.”

The hotel was also awarded the best property for service within the Marriott hotel group for five years running and boasts nine meeting and conference rooms, 158 hotel bedrooms, a restaurant, extensive leisure facilitates, health and beauty and a championship golf course.
