Manchester airport’s Best Western Plus Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel has announced the appointment of Hayley Lane as its new general manager.
Lane brings over twelve years of experience in the hospitality sector.
In 2016, the hotel completed a £2m development project adding 19 new bedrooms and making design improvements, both internally and externally, to the existing 1970s hotel extension.
The hotel owners also invested £1.5m in the property in 2014 to create 12 new en-suite bedrooms, increased lounge space on the ground floor and to launch the Restaurant One Eighty.
The hotel has also recently invested in a solid wood gazebo in its gardens which have now been licensed for outdoor ceremonies.
Lane said: “I am delighted to be joining the Best Western Plus Pinewood on Wilmslow. Our main focus is to maximise on the potential offered by the hotel’s improvements. We have a strong reputation on which to build and through continued investment in both our product and our people we aim to be the go to venue for both the local market and those visiting the area.
“We will be introducing new sales and marketing initiatives in the next few months, based on the flexibility of our packages and quality of service that we deliver, that will take the hotel into 2018 in a strong position.”
