The AA has announced the winner of the AA Housekeeper of the Year Award for 2013 as Julie Rogers of the Lowry Hotel in Manchester.
Julie has been at the Lowry for over 12 years and puts her success down to the fact that she believes a guest should never feel that someone has been in the room before them.
The annual award, sponsored by Northmace & Hendon Limited recognises outstanding commitment and performance, identifying a housekeeper who goes above and beyond the call of duty. The two runner-up awards were received by Amelia Lawrence at the Grove and Seung Eun Kim from the Hotel Missoni.
The judges revealed that Julie was selected as the overall winner not only due to her housekeeping standards, which are consistently of the highest quality, but also due to her attention to detail, her commitment to promoting housekeeping as a career and her dedication in ensuring that her team of are happy and motivated.
