Plans have been approved for Bike and Boot’s second hotel located in the Hope Valley, Peak District National Park.
Set to open March 2022, the new hotel will be the second of the Bike and Boot Brand and follows the opening of the 65-bed Scarborough site. The company has three further sites in various stages of planning, across the North of England, the Midlands, Wales and Scotland.
The new hotel will offer a “modern leisure escape” for walkers, cyclists, surfers and dog owners, together with those wishing to get away for a relaxing break.
Interior Design consultants, Rachel McLane Limited, have been enlisted to design the property and help “inject the all-important Bike & Boot personality”. The company recently won Best Hotel Interior Design of the Year at the Northern Design Awards 2020, for their work on Bike & Boot, Scarborough.
This news comes just months after Bike and Boot opened its first hotel in Scarborough. Despite launching in the middle of a pandemic, in the height of summer the hotel managed to operate at 95% occupancy.
Simon Rhatigan and Simon Kershaw, co-founders of Bike and Boot Inns, said: “We are thrilled with the location of the next Bike & Boot hotel; it’s another site that hugely complements the ethos of the brand.
“With the strong demand for staycations and the success of our first hotel in Scarborough, we feel confident that our second site will be well received. We can’t wait to welcome guests.”
