Mark Carnazzola has been appointed hotel manager at the recently renovated Royal Lancaster London.
Originally from Queensland, Australia, Carnazzola studied operations management at Cornell University in New York State and first moved to the UK in 2002.
He previous roles include the director of rooms at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London and general manager at Nobu Hotel Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Before joining the Royal Lancaster he was GM at the Bentley Hotel in London.
Commenting on his appointment, Carnazzola said: “I am very excited to join the [hotel] family at such a momentous time for the [property], having just recently relaunched after a transformative redesign.
“I’m looking forward to running this prestigious hotel where we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the happiness of our colleagues.”
