Hampton by Hilton has opened a new 178-room hotel in Belfast City Centre, its first in Northern Ireland.
The new nine-storey property, which joins six existing Hilton properties already open in Ireland, is located near Belfast waterfront and all its rooms feature Hilton’s signature beds, LCD flat-screen TV, coffee maker and laptop safe. The hotel also has its own dining and public areas as well as a 252 sq ft meeting space that can hold up to 12 delegates.
Hampton by Hilton Belfast City Centre also has easy access to major transport hubs, including Great Victoria Street Bus and Rail Station, which is directly beside the hotel.
According to Hilton in 2017, Belfast saw 1.5 million overnight trips, up from 1.36 million the previous year and is a growing location for short-breaks and is one of Europe’s top visitor destinations.
Stephen Murray, general manager at Hampton by Hilton Belfast City Centre, said: “We are delighted to put the globally recognised brand, Hampton by Hilton, on the map in Northern Ireland. It is a real pleasure to open our doors today and welcome guests from across the globe and here in Belfast with our authentic, warm, and friendly service.”
