Congham Hall Hotel launches new orchard cabins

The cabins will comprise a freestanding outdoor bathtub, an en-suite bathroom and a sitting area.

Congham Hall Hotel has announced it will launch five orchard cabins in 2022 as part of a £1m development to mark the Norfolk hotel’s 10th anniversary.

Each of the new rooms will comprise a freestanding outdoor bathtub, an en-suite bathroom and a sitting area, located in the manor’s apple orchard.

The cabins’ décor has been created by FM Interiors, and BC Designs supplied the duo of baths for each room.

All five cabins will be named after apples to pay homage to its location: Cox and Laxton, which grow in the hotel’s orchard, and Braeburn, Evelina and Horsford.

Meanwhile, the cabins are the latest addition to the hotel, following the recent redevelopment of its restaurant as The Samphire Kitchen, and a refurbishment of its Secret Garden Spa, including a fifth therapy room and a remodelled outdoor deck with a hot tub.

The £1m development is part of the hotel’s celebrations for its 10th anniversary under Nicholas Dickinson and his team, who took over Congham Hall in 2012 and relaunched it as a country-house hotel.

Dickinson said: “Our new orchard cabins are the perfect place for our guests to enjoy some star bathing.

“The contemporary designs beautifully complement the original Georgian manor and provide a magnificent addition as we launch our celebrations of 10 years as Congham Hall’s custodians.”
