Beaumont names new hotel manager and restaurant director

The hotel will welcome Rieu and Dandrea on the 17 and 31 January respectively

The Beaumont has announced the appointments of Samantha Rieu as hotel manager and Antonio Dandrea as restaurant director of The Colony Grill Room.

It revealed Rieu and Dandrea both join the hotel with a ‘wealth of experience’ as long-standing hospitality professionals.

The Beaumont will welcome Rieu and Dandrea on the 17 and 31 January respectively.

Rieu, who joins The Beaumont from Dukes London, has over 15 years in the hospitality industry.

She began her career at The Fairmont Boston and The Savoy Hotel, and has worked at the Mandarin Oriental in Hyde Park, for the Harvey Nichols Group, the Michelin-starred Roussillon restaurant, UBS and was named GM of the Future by the Master Innholders at the Independent Hotel Show Awards 2019.

Dandrea joins the hotel from Fairmount Windsor, where he held the role of food and beverage manager. He has worked for the Savoy Hotel in Florence, Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, Le Richemond in Geneva, The Lanesborough in London and The Arts Club in Mayfair as restaurant deputy general manager.
