The Enterkine House hotel in Ayrshire, Scotland, has been placed on the market for a considered price of £1.48m.
The country house hotel is set within rural surroundings and features a walled garden, marquee space for events and two residential properties, the Kirk House and Steading, which are six-bedroom traditional farmhouses used as ‘overspill accommodations’ for the hotel.
The property is being sold by business property adviser Christie & Co in partnership with Galbraith, a Scottish independent property consultancy. Brian Sheldon, regional director at Christie & Co’s Glasgow office, who is handling the sale, said: “The market for country house hotels such as Enterkine House has vastly improved in recent years.
“Its location in South Ayrshire and within the such an enviable estate and countryside will attract local, regional and potentially international operators. Whilst the business is trading well, there is certainly scope for further growth.”
