The Gailes Hotel and Spa in Ayrshire has been crowned the winner of Scotland’s best spa and leisure hotel at the 2022 Prestige Hotel Awards.
The Irvine venue beat competition from Cameron House Hotel, Trump Turnberry and Gleddoch Hotel Spa and Golf to pick up the trophy at the awards ceremony which took place at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza.
Having recently undergone a £2m extension and refurbishment, the venue’s luxury Si Spa offers over 50 personalised treatments using ESPA and Ishga products.
The 2000 square metre spa is led by two experienced spa managers and a team of 10 expert therapists and wellness professionals.
The Gailes Hotel and Spa is part of the family-owned SimpsInns group with award winning hotels, restaurants, bars, golf and leisure in Ayrshire.
Malcom Simpson, director, SimpsInns said: “We are delighted to announce that The Gailes Hotel and Spa has won Scotland’s Best Spa and Leisure Hotel.
“Having invested almost £2m in the spa alone in the last two years, we were thrilled to be able to offer visitors a stylish and rejuvenating spa experience in the heart of Ayrshire and it’s wonderful for our hard work to be recognised.”
He added: “Si Spa sets out to provide visitors with the perfect escape from their everyday life in a calming and tranquil setting, and we hope that our guests continue to enjoy their time in our stress-free oasis.”
