The Boulevard Hotel appoints new general manager

Spiekermann most recently managed both the LOUIS Hotel and the CORINTHIIA in Munich, Germany before taking up this latest role.

The Boulevard Hotel, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, has appointed Klaus Spiekermann as its new general manager.

The hotel said Spiekermann has over 18 years of experience working in luxury hospitality, previously holding senior positions at the Banyan Tree Hotel, Seychelles, Le Meridien Hotel, Munich and The Corinthia Hotel, London.

Spiekermann most recently was at the helm of both the Louis Hotel and the Corinthia in Munich, Germany before taking up this latest role.

He has also attained a number of key industry qualifications; including a degree in General Manager Programme from the University Centre César Ritz, Switzerland and Washington State University in 2003 followed by certificates in Cornell University’s General Manager Programme and Hotel Real Estate and Asset Management in 2017 and 2020 respectively. 

Spiekermann said: “I’m extremely excited to be taking on the role of General Manager at the Boulevard Hotel, and already feel at home with the rest of the team.

“Having worked everywhere from the Seychelles to Kuala Lumpur, I’m really excited to bring my unique perspective and skillset to this new role to deliver superb, luxury experiences for our guests. I’m really looking forward to this challenge  during the coming weeks and months ahead – watch this space!”

The establishment has 120 rooms, including eight junior suites, two park view suites, eight coastal suites and family rooms with a mixture of coastal and park facing rooms.
