Mark Vaughan, people director of tourist accommodation, Beds and Bars Ltd, has announced that the company has won its third platinum award from Investors in People, which is said to be a rare achievement in the hospitality industry

Vaughan reportedly attributes the company’s win to “the hard work and determination that the company puts into supporting and developing its people”.

It is reported that Beds and Bars had surpassed the BBG benchmark in the industry average, as well as the IIP benchmark. In addition, the company received a 100% response rate from its teams, all answering “yes” to recommending Beds and Bars as a place to work. 

Vaughan said: “This award is only given to high performing companies that truly look after their people and we are over the moon to get such high level recognition for what we do. 

“Every member of our team strives to work with ethics, work with integrity, work with pride and work with value. This exemplifies our company standards and values and we are so proud of each and every person working alongside us.”

Keith Knowles OBE, CEO of Beds and Bars, added: ” Holding on to our IIP Platinum for a third year running is an incredibly proud achievement for me and the entire team. We will continue the great work, which gave us the foundation’s to continue this journey.”
