Adagio has revealed it is set to open its Adagio Glasgow Central property on 1 December, 2022.
The contemporary building inspired by Glasgow’s industrial history will be located close to the business centre and on the banks of the River Clyde with both Glasgow Central station and St Enoch’s underground station within five minutes walk.
The design of the 162-room property will reference the “industrial might” of the Glasgow shipbuilders, whilst “paying tribute to the playful tourism trade”. The property will be pet-friendly offering a gym, laundry room and a guest library.
The aparthotel will also be within walking distance of Argyle Street and St Enoch’s shopping centre, as well as the international business district.
The opening for the French brand, present now in 14 different countries, marks Adagio’s 8th property in the UK, and its second venture in Scotland, following the Adagio Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
