Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond has announced Andrea Molloy as its new director of spa.
With more than 30 years’ experience within the spa and wellness industry, Molloy is regarded as an expert in concept and brand development, strategic planning, innovative treatments and spa trends.
Molloy joins Cameron House following a position as international training manager at ESPA International for 10 years.
Here, she taught at The Corinthia in London, Only and Only Reethi Rah Maldives and Four Seasons Lisbon – teaching the full ESPA syllabus in a range of areas from ayurvedic treatments and sleep rituals to mindful massages.
Since Molloy also worked as managing director for Spa Developments Consultancy, she is now equipped with knowledge of spa practices and methods, as well as spa business strategy.
She plans on introducing the sing bowl meditation as one of the new experiences at the Cameron Spa, along with traditional mindfulness practices including frequent yoga and meditation sessions for guests.
She said: “Supporting and coaching a team is something I am passionate about. I am really looking forward to achieving the highest level of skill development within the team, and ultimately making Cameron Spa one of the leading spas in the country.”
One of Molloy’s earliest roles was as a spa therapist at Cameron House. Resort director Andy Roger added: “We could not be happier to welcome Andrea back to the team after almost 30 years.
“Following 10 years of travelling the globe with her role at ESPA, Andrea will be bringing her international expertise to propel Cameron House’s five-star spa into achieving international recognition for its excellence.”
