Browns Hotel, a small independent hotel located in the centre of Dartmouth, has been brought to market for an undisclosed amount.
The property, which is a Georgian-era building that has undergone extensive renovations in recent years, is located a short walk from the local marina and waterfront.
The hotel had nine en-suite letting rooms and a bistro and bar, which takes bookings from locals, holidaymakers and hotel residents.
In addition, the boutique hotel has built up an “excellent” reputation under the ownership of Mike and Susan Bishop.
Although this is already a highly successful and profitable business, several opportunities exist for a new owner to develop the hotel even further and increase trade significantly.
Stephen Champion, director in Christie and Co’s Southwest hotel team, said: “Browns represents a fantastic opportunity for a new owner to take over a successful ‘turn-key’ operation with a quality team of staff in place.
“Given the highly desirable nature of Dartmouth and successful track record of Browns, we would expect significant interest in this rare opportunity.”
