The Ardencaple Hotel on the banks of Gare Lock, which is operated by Greene King Inns, has fully reopened after undergoing a six-figure refurbishment that completely reimagined the site.
The refurbishment saw that all 25 ensuite rooms received a “full and modernised” decor change, as well as fresh furniture and carpets. Meanwhile, all bathrooms have been completely refitted.
In addition, new 42-inch TV screens have been added to all rooms, alongside other modern touches such as USB power points throughout. The hotel offers a range of different room types, including dog friendly bedrooms.
The hotel, which has good access to Loch Lomond, is set in a listed building that dates back to the 19th-Century.
The refurbishment also extended to the lobby area and the beer garden of the adjoining pub, where there is capacity to fit up to 200 guests.
Sarah Weir, general manager of the Ardencaple, said: “It’s been a while in the making but we’re really pleased with the updates we’ve made to the Ardencaple, and the team is looking forward to showing them off to our guests over the next few months.
“The hotel is in the perfect spot for those wanting to get away on a staycation, complete with excellent walking opportunities in the surrounding area. With our stunning views, great location and new modern feel, there’s no better base for exploring the local area.”
