Mercure Paignton Hotel has opened its doors along the seafront of Paignton, Devon.
The hotel’s design has been inspired by the golden age of the English Riviera, and the interiors feature dark woods, brass finishes and vintage local graphics.
The new hotel includes 161 bedrooms, ranging from “double rooms” to “privilege rooms”.
Other facilities include a “fully equipped” gym and a “contemporary” onsite restaurant, Latitude 50.
Latitude 50 offers a locally inspired menu as part of its all-day dining experience.
Additional amenities include a lounge and two event spaces that can accommodate up to 35 guests for conferences, meetings and events.
Mercure Paignton Hotel also offers guests “easy” access to the surrounding English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark.
The hotel will follow the AllSafe safety standard developed by Accor in cooperation with Bureau Veritas.
