Hotel du Vin Cheltenham welcomes new general manager

Boutique hotel brand Hotel du Vin has appointed Luke Millikin as the new general manager of Hotel du Vin Cheltenham.

Millikin previously oversaw the launch of the Calcot Manor Group’s Painswick Hotel in Stroud in 2016, where he then stayed on as general manager. He has also held deputy roles at IBIS and the Abode Hotels Group.

Commenting on his appointment Millikin said: “I loved my time at Painswick, but I was ready for a new challenge and was looking for the opportunity to work for a bigger hotel, or one in a vibrant town centre.

“With Hotel du Vin I found both. I’m delighted to have been appointed General Manager at one of the town’s best and most-loved hotels, and to have inherited such a fantastic team. I’m really looking forward to getting to know our guests and the local community.”
