The Royal Hotel in Ullapool has been sold to new owners for an undisclosed sum.
The Royal Hotel is located overlooking Ullapool Harbour and is a former coaching inn. It features 54-bedrooms arranged over two principal floors, with balconies decorating the first floor around the front façade of the property overlooking the harbour.
The hotel also provides a variety of accommodations, including a restaurant, public bar and ‘The Ballroom’ – and a four-bedroom manager’s flat.
The Royal Hotel was marketed on a confidential basis with the sale price and details undisclosed.
Peter Seymour, a director with Graham + Sibbald, who handled the sale, said: “This is one of a number of hotel sales we have completed under a confidential marketing campaign recently.
“The buyers are a local operator who we know intend to invest in the Hotel and drive the business to new highs. We wish them all the best with their excellent purchase. The deal was financed by RBS which marks a return to the deal market for mainstream lenders.”
