The White Hart Hotel in Moretonhampstead has been put up for sale with a guide price of £900,000 for the hotel.
The Mews have also been put up for sale with a price of £200,000 and the two lots are available separately or as a pair.
The main hotel includes 17 en suite bedrooms, guest lounge and reception, public bar and restaurant, three staff bedrooms and a two-bedroom manager’s flat.
It also has an enclosed courtyard which has a separate function suite, smaller function/meeting room and office.
The Mews provides for a further eight en suite bedrooms and compliments the main hotel or could serve for independent accommodation use.
Alison McGregor, owner, said: “The White Hart Hotel seeks a new custodian to love and cherish her as much as my late husband and I have done. Following our major investment, the business is ripe for a new owner with fresh energy seeking a new venture within one of the most beautiful areas of the country – The Dartmoor National Park.”
Mike Easton from Vickery Holman, joint selling agents with Savills, added: “The White Hart has served the people of Moretonhampstead for centuries and is well known far and wide as an excellent location for discovering all that is good about Dartmoor and the lower Teign Valley. It is a successful business and lots of opportunities exist to increase the three core revenue streams and champion the heritage of the site and location.”
