Virgin Hotels Collection appoints seven to new global sales team

Virgin Hotels Collection has announced the formation of its global sales team with the key executive appointment of Maya Latinovic, Vanessa Rothery, Shannon Byrne, Abigail Trangmar, Julia Grishkova and Peter Delia. 

This development follows the establishment of Virgin Hotels Collection in January of this year, which combined the expertise of the two global teams to elevate the consumer experience and to accelerate the expansion of both brands. 

Latinovic has been appointed to lead the team as vice president of global sales, having been a driving force for the brand since her previous appointment to vice president of global sales for Virgin Hotels in January 2022. She has over 20 years of experience leading sales strategies at global brands including Edition Hotels and Preferred Hotels. 

Rothery has been promoted to executive director of sales for EMEA and ASPAC, following her two-decade tenure with Virgin Limited Edition, while Byrne advanced to the role of director of leisure sales in the Americas after joining the company in April 2022 from Bulgari Hotels. 

Trangmar has also been appointed director of sales and will be responsible for developing trade partnerships from within Virgin Atlantic. 

In addition, Grishkova is now Virgin Hotels Collection’s director of group sales, while Delia will continue to lead corporate and entertainment efforts across the portfolio as director of corporate and entertainment sales. 

The formation of the global sales team at Virgin Hotels Collection brings together executives from both Virgin Hotels and Virgin Limited Edition to continue the collection’s commitment to its trade partners and to increasing its worldwide footprint.
