Brilliant Hotels Collection has announced the addition of Heritage Park Hotel in the South of Wales to its hotel portfolio.
The news comes after the Welsh hotel was sold by Colliers to the Zaman Family, who then appointed Brilliant Hotels to manage the property.
The modern property was constructed in the 1990s and is set within a large two-acre site.
It was designed for modern, corporate hotel use and as such has dining and conference facilities, as well as a wedding venue.
Undergoing extensive renovations, the hotel has been completely reimagined, featuring 43 designed en-suite bedrooms, ranging from Classic King rooms to the Executive Suites.
Guests can also access The Loft Restaurant, which seats 100, features exposed timbers and is designed in a bistro style.
Additionally, The Rhondda Suite can accommodate conferences of up to 220 people, with the first-floor Lewis Merthyr Suite seating up to 120.
The Conservatory has space for 60 people while there is also a “good-sized” Lounge Bar on site.
The property also offers complimentary Wi-Fi, on-site parking and access to the modern Leisure Club.
Anoob Saban, managing director of Brilliant Hotels Collection, said: “The addition of Heritage Park Hotel to Brilliant Hotels Collection is a source of immense joy for us. We eagerly anticipate welcoming a diverse array of guests to this remarkable property, which occupies an exceptional location, making it an ideal hub for both corporate travellers and weekend explorers eager to experience Glamorgan and South Wales. This marks an exhilarating chapter for our entire team as we extend our reach into Wales.”
Peter Brunt, director in the Hotels Agency team at Colliers, who handled the sale, added: “The Heritage Park Hotel is tremendously successful with both the business community and locals with its flexible function facilities being particularly popular for weddings.
“Its location close to Cardiff and sandwiched between the Brecon Beacons and the coast attracts a wide range of guests from a large catchment area. Having sold the property to the outgoing owners in 2005, it is fantastic to be able to help them secure new owners and welcome in a new chapter for the hotel. The sale demonstrates that good hotel assets continue to attract buyers.”
